Valborg På Campus was born from a vision in FestMästeriet, UMS's festival committee. A group of friends wanted to create something special for students at the Umeå Medical Student Union, but the dream grew quickly. Soon an event for the entire Umeå University took shape.
Today, the festival is run by a passionate and independent project group, with support from the Umeå Medical Student Union and the Umeå Natural and Technological Sciences Union. Our history is our foundation.
From the very first edition in 2023 with 2,800 happy students, through the successes in 2024 and 2025 that attracted 3,800 and 5,000 revelers to Campusängarna, respectively, we have built a beloved tradition. Now it's time for the next chapter.
2026 is the year when we break all records.
We are preparing for the biggest and most spectacular edition to date. The artists are still secret, but we promise, it will be a line-up that the history books will remember.
Don't put it another way on April 30, 2026. This will be more than a festival. It will be a celebration of our shared history, and an explosion of joy that will write the future.
